Here are a couple of pictures from a recent session near Florence, Oregon. I am based in Portland, Oregon but frequently travel to the coast for portraits. I do almost exclusively outdoor location portraits, especially for high school seniors. I had a studio for 10 years and I really think the best results are achieved in an outdoor setting instead of on a studio background. Its tough in the summertime to change clothes and freshen up in the heat with many photographers, as you just have to make do in your car. Here is my “on location changing room” It is great for changing and checking your makeup. Bring a ton of outfits and pile them in and do your location portraits in comfort.
